Gulliver's Birthday

Gulliver turned 11 today, after a bad nights sleep due to being very excited he got up early and opened a few presents, he had bacon and eggs for breakfast and then went to School.

Max and I spent all day tidying up the house, Max cleared the roof terrace for the piñata and I baked a Victoria Sponge which is what Gulli asked for.

I picked Gulli up from school with friends Rohan, Ollie, Lucas and Anthony and they came back here for pizza and mocktails, we played half a game of skip-Bo, they jumped around a lot, Gulli got winded but recovered in time to smash the piñata which contained toys and sweets for them all.

Zebedee showed then funny videos on you-tube and devised a game where the last person to laugh was the winner.

Then we had cake which everyone really liked (yay) and then their Mum's came to pick them all up about 6.

Then Bella our old au pair called and also my Dad to wish him Happy Birthday.

Then he opened his main present from us which is a Telescope, Max set it up and we all had a good look at the moon which was really cool, we bought him a book on Astronomy and a star map for the year.

He also got some magic tricks, something he is very keen on at the moment, a Lolo Ball, a magic flying ring - an inflated frisbee type thing that bounces very high, a dinosaur book, happy families card game, a weird ball that changes colour when you throw it, some art materials, Pokemon annual, boys book of everything and boys book of survival!!

More presents on the way and family gatherings planned over the weekend to celebrate further.
