Hospital visiting at the Queen Elizabeth in Birmingham, driving past mile after mile of flooded fields to get there. The stunning design of the building meant my friend had a whole wall window, looking towards the uni, my old stamping ground. Such a beautiful redbrick campus; I still shiver at the memory of sitting Finals under the domes of the roof of the Great Hall.
Driving through torrential rain all the way home.
