Latest MX5 (first reg 2006ish) makes quite a sensible commute car. In theory it can achieve nearly 50mpg on the motorway and average about 40mpg. Hmmm food for thought ;)

Not sure it would scratch that Caterham itch but you can pick up an 06 plate with less than 40k on the clock for less £5k ...


... Time to change the VW maybe...
