Repro Retro 10/365

My old lava lamp, which dear Dad found in the hoarders delight which is his garage. Sadly, it's not the cool 70's kind but the retro repro phase circa 1995.

At 16 I loved this and thought it was the coolest; now it makes me wonder how they were even safe for sale. The base gets hot, the glass bottle sits precariously close to a fall, likely to give in to a noisy sneeze, and the contents would likely stain a carpet, badly.

Gosh I'm getting old.
