Lindsay's Christmas present has finally arrived, a "Hand Activated Percussion Instrument." A mini HAPI drum,tuned to the scale of C major (so he told me).
The beautiful harmonious tones it produces are similar to Tibetan singing bowls or bells, and are created by tuned vibrating rectangles of steel.

"Your next camping trip won't be complete without a HAPI time around the campfire."
