Boiled Peanuts

I bought these boiled peanuts on the street. The first time I tried these tasty looking peanuts, I was surprised by their cold, soft, moist nature. They weren't bad, just different compared with the hard, crunchy, salty, roasted peanuts I was used to. I've now grown to appreciate them just as they are, a great afternoon snack.
