Playing again

Look who came to play. My friend Liz (a colleague and friend I have known for 20 years) died in October after a short illness. It was a horrid time and desperately sad. But this little one is her granddaughter. Liz died when she was 2 weeks old. Heartbreaking.

It was lovely to see Emily. She's very beautiful and smiley.

Liz's other daughter, Karen, is due in 2 weeks. You will be seeing a lot of him/her once he/she's born.
