The Roads You Travel

At some point in the future, this country lane that I drive along, three times a week, back and forward, through all seasons of the year, through ice, snow, floods, through the most glorious sunshine, through darkness, through sun rising and fading skies, through autumn gold and spring dancing yellow, each bend, each curve so achingly familiar - at some point, it will seem like a dream.

It's one of the reasons I stop, each day, and take a photograph of the morning, of the trees, of the daybreak, of the sunset, of the curves, of the bends, of the simple look of the road.
