The Clyde

Since leaving a full time job as a news correspondent in the BBC I have been presenting a sports programme on Radio nan Gaidheal every Saturday morning.
This can be a fairly grim experience when the alarm goes off at 06.30, particularly on cold wet winter mornings.
However, by 09.00 when we go on air my enthusiasm for sport and live broadcasting has been rekindled. I remember why I do it. We also have a range of superb contributors whose love for their sport is so infectious.
And when the sun comes up, like it did this morning, the views up and down the Clyde are wonderful - blending the old and new. Apologies for the reflection in the left hand side of the photo.
