Jellyfishing in Surigao

A little over an hour from Manila by plane, Surigao del Norte offers you activities for the inner adventurer in you. One activity you can indulge is exploring the islands and be mesmerized with wonders hidden to many.

For a city dweller like me, a quick break from the hustle and bustle of Manila is always a welcome treat. On this one, we rode a banca (small boat) and paddled to the more peaceful waters inside the islets in Surigao. Here we came upon tons of jellyfishes swimming along as we entered their territory. The waters were calmer and warmer making it conducive to make this wildlife area their habitat.
