Breakfast anyone- but what is that creature??

I bought some live mealworms from the internet to feed the robin and the blackbirds. I have not done this before and I ordered a kilo. Bloomin heck there are hundreds of them. I won't order so many next time. You can keep them in the fridge for ages as long as you take them out once a week to warm them up and feed them. There are a few other creatures in with them- top left of picture above the carrot. Does anyone know what this is? It moves much quicker than the worms. Looks a bit like a huge ladybird larvae but it cannot be as it is too big. Not sure how well I will cope with live worms but so far so good. They feed on oats and wheat bran.
