Fairy Glen and castles day

LHRH explored the Trotternish peninsula today, starting with a trek across a farm to see Castle Uisdean - essentially a stone box to RH's untrained eye.
We turned off just before Uig to visit the fairy glen where this photo was taken. The big rock on top of the hill is historically called Castle Ewan despite not being a castle.
The rain came on so we got back on the road to our next stop, Duntulm Castle, aka the windiest place in the whole world. In the driving rain we spotted the Quiraing and the Old Man of Storr, pictured here.
We also stopped off at Kilt Rock, the Flora MacDonald monument and spotted the end of a few rainbows and a pergrine falcon.
Before going back the warmth of the fire we drove along the road to Braes, a collection of houses the look over the sea to Raasay. The picture of the baby highland cow spotted on the way was a close contender for today's blip!
