Whitby Abbey

Well today has been an adventure and a half, decided yesterday that i would head up to Whitby Abbey as i had never been there. Asked my bestie if she and her daughter fancied a ride out for the afternoon. They did, so off to Whitby we went, what an absolutely amazing drive up there and the abbey itself is simply stunning. Took over 130 photos i was as happy as pigs in poo :-). After a quick hot chocolate in the cafe and a cheese sandwich and a jaffa cake we headed home.
And here where the fun began, approximately 25 miles from home my clutch pedal went clunk, unfortunately i didn't have breakdown cover :-( but proceeded to call the AA and agreed to pay 140 pound for them to come and see if the could fix it. Thankfully after a short wait the lovely man from the AA came and did a make shift fix on the clutch pedal to get us home. And it worked bless him, home safe and sound feeling exhausted, but happy with my photo's.
Would also like to thank L & T for being patient and apologise for making them stand at the side of the road in the freezing temperatures for half an hour or so. Also to the lovely people who pulled up to ask us if we were ok, its nice to know there are some decent people out there. It was a bit of a arrrgghhh moment being in a strange place in the pitch black and not knowing what to do. But alls well that ends well :-)
