Just no Jackson!

We went to my neighbor's this morning to feed their horse, Jackson, and I took my camera along, planning on getting a great shot of him coming to the barn for his oats. Unfortunately, when I put my camera away last evening I left it on the settings I had been using for yesterday's photo (Christmas lights).

As Jackson came prancing prettily to the barn, I'm standing there feeling like an idiot fiddling with my settings. Desperate, I flipped it to Auto, brought the camera to my eye and pressed the shutter button...just as he disappeared into the barn.

Oh well, not a bad shot of the barn, I guess. Just no Jackson!
