Waiting for the Fish To Bite

Some of the fishers who took part in a fishing competition down at the port today. Lots of people turned out, including families, with their deck chairs & picnics. It was a really nice atmosphere.

The weather this morning & early this afternoon was wonderful, with no wind & 26 degrees C. But then a front came through, bringing strong southerlies, & a drop in temperature. This Summer has been a non event, weather-wise.
