Finally

Today has been a day of catching up with all the niggling jobs that we've put off.

We finally found some school shoes for the kid after three failed attempts and some wellies that aren't 'babyish' or 'silly' (his words).

We finally booked a holiday for the kid's birthday. A lovely weekend in Filey at the beginning of April. We've debated where to go since before Xmas.

We finally hung this picture which my sister bought me for Xmas. Its lovely, isn't it?

We've also done a load of other boring a stuff, the weekly shop, laundry etc. Despite being a dull day, I've enjoyed it. Its nice to be able to knock all these things off my to do list.
