Wedding Bells

green bells of Ireland
white rose of Tibet
wedding sentinels
twelve days past
stand serene
in sunday light
tolling testaments
to our day

I am amazed at the life of these flowers that guard the aisles to herald our day. We both remarked at their beauty this morning against our newly painted purple upstairs hall. you can see them on the floor by the edge of the aisle in this photo .

I highly recommend August-Osage County the acting was incredible, Julia Roberts and Meryl Streep, wow, two members of an ultra dysfunctional family! I read an article where Julia Roberts said, "It kinda makes you feel good when you go home to your own family, right?" The table scene with Chris Cooper and the rest of the cast, bringing talent and stamina , looked like it took everything they had to do the scene. It was hilarious and heartbreaking, shocking and violent at times, they all acted their pants off. I see the New Yorker panned Meryl's performance, not me, she was wicked when lucid in my book.
