The Sorrel Horse

in Shottisham. Highly recommended. Don't know if the stocks in the front are for patrons who complain or don't pay their bill.

I may have to go and see someone in Alderton on Tuesday, so we went to look where it is, had a quick bike ride in Rendlesham Forest and then lunch at the Sorrel Horse. Arguably the best burger I have had in England.

The plan was to have a longer bike ride, but we ran out of time - most of which was taken up by taking the bikes off the rack & putting them back on.

Had a sherry in the bath when we got home and now we're off to bed with hot milk & marsmellow fluff.
