Star trails at Loch Garten

Second attempt at star trails. Far more successful than the first (i.e. I could actually see stars!) Did about 40 minutes shooting, but this is only about the first 35 as cloud had come across. Quite pleased with the result which is much better than I thought would come out. Still a massive learning curve - next time I am going to pick a night where the moon isn't nearly full, and somewhere where I can see north (that will make the trails more circular). Also made the welcome discovery that if I park right behind where my camera is going to go, I don't freeze as much!

I might still go back and take out the shot where the car went past, but I might not!
