Whale

There was a very sad sight in the Firth of Forth this weekend. The carcass of a young sperm whale washed up on a beach near Edinburgh on Friday night and seeing it was much more shocking than I expected, especially at low tide when the whole body and the injuries it has sustained were revealed. I would love to know how it came to be here on the East coast of Scotland when it's normal habitat is the Atlantic.
