Frosty crystals are such a treat - treasure on a grey day. They hung around much of today as did the ice on the paths and woodland tracks. Too icy for safely getting the horses out so I did a long walk with the dog instead, wrapping hands around my camera whilst hiding frozen fingers in long jumper sleeves. Some how the fireside is so very much more rewarding once you've been out.
