365: Metasequoira glyptostroboides

I had a spare hour today between lessons at school so decided to go round to the Royal Botanic Gardens Edinburgh for a breath of fresh air and a walk. One of my favourite areas is the Chinese Hillside with the running water and the bamboo bridges. Walking through, the colour of this tree caught my eye. After taking a closer look I realised it as a sequoia. Even though it's from a different area of the world, this tree reminded me of a holiday many years ago in the sequoia national forest in California...one of my most treasured memories...
