A little break

During our visit to the Mayan Temples in Tulum today. It was swelteringly hot so we tried to reach shady places as often as possible.
these Mayan priests definitely knew to build on a beautiful and protected site.
Right next to the beautiful beach. The Temples were smaller than what I would have expected but there were lizzards as big as a mans arm. And you could not enter any of them any more...:-(
We spent some more hours on one of the golden beaches close by the temples, before the thunderheads reminded us that there was some rain in the forecast and we headed home.
