Another Night in the Gardens

So originally I took a photo of some tourist capturing still video of roses in the Rose Garden with a massive video camera. Boring.

Last night the Mrs and I got an invitation to go to the night-time festivities at the Botanic Gardens. I was asked specifically to bring my camera. There was lots of fun had trying to manual focus and shoot slow shutter speeds handheld. This is a photo of our friends Carla and Alys. The bokeh of the lights made for some gorgeous backgrounds. You can bet there will be more blips of these lights while they are making their appearance in the gardens.
