All things bright and beautiful...

All creatures great and small... Are lichens plants or creatures? - I'm never quite sure... Sometimes they act like bacteria when they encounter an alien species and they send out chemicals to eradicate the invader. Anyway, it's bright, sunny and chilly here today and I liked the way these clumps of white lichen have colonised the church wall forming their own patterns in competition with the stained glass windows.
