Early Bird

The early bird gets the worm or, in my case, the early blipper gets the only chance of a little bit of blue sky and a glimpse of sunrise colours!

I had planned to get up early and drive to Torrisdale to catch the sunrise there. The forecast looked OK and there was an overnight frost. However, the clouds rolled in from the west sooner than I thought they would, ruling out a spectacular sunrise.

Never mind, I took the wee compact with me on my run to the beach and got a few blips of where a sunrise might have been. At least there was a bit of foreground interest with all the seaweed washed up by recent storms!
