OH no. not Easter already !!

Not my best composed blip but very much a grab shot. On most Tuesday and Thursday mornings we walk our dogs with our neighbours, Marlene & Bruce and their two dogs, Abby and Bella and then go to East Links Family Park cafe for coffee. It’s handy for parking and is open all the year round and as we are regulars we get a top up free. East Links is a small farm cum entertainment centre for children which for many year has been one of the major attractions in this part of the world. It has regular seasonal attractions such as the Santa Train, and Halloween Ghost House.

Today while we were sitting having our coffee one of the staff appeared wearing this Orville style chicken costume. Evidently the park was getting a tourism award and chose to use the occasion to publicise their next seasonal attraction - the Easter Egg Hunt. On a dreich day there were few children around but those who were in the café were totally entranced by this apparition and the member of staff inhabiting the costume was great at grabbing their attention with all sort of Orville-like gestures.

On a day when I knew I was going to be toiling I just knew I had to grab the the opportunity for a colourful blip.
