Anatole's blips

Greenie in the sunset

Back at the London Wetland Centre today to catch the sunset. The better weather and flooded marshes have increased the activity somewhat since my last visit. The visit started with a stern ticking off by a Cetti's Warbler teasing me at close quarters until I had the camera out and then dashing off into the undergrowth.

But the highlight of the evening was this Green Woodpecker posing on a stump in the setting sun. Sorry about the repeat bird within a week, but this one was just too good to miss.
