Flinders Bay - Augusta

This was Mum and Dad's favourite swimming spot when they were down at Augusta. They used to go down every day and soon discovered another group of like minded people who would also make the daily trek to the beach. One day Dad and Mum took a couple of thermoses down with them and offered their new friends a cuppa and some morning tea. And so started the tradition. For many years the friends would meet and enjoy a swim, a cuppa and a chat. They did all bring their own thermos though!!
