Born to Be Wild

Took our newly adopted parrot to the doc today for a wellness exam. Poor thing had to be wrapped in a towel like a squeaking burrito, because he's not very hand tame at the moment. Because parrots are technically not domesticated animals, if they aren't given one-on-one attention on a regular basis, they revert to a wild state, or worse, go mental. Happily, though, with training and a LOT of patience, they can learn to trust humans again.
