So much to answer for ...

J9 has a christmas job in Manchester and today was her induction, so I gave her a lift and went into work for a few hours to finish a proposal i had been working on.

It was a real nippy day but rather lovely, the cold didnt put off these hardy northern types drinking al fresco, some are even in t shirts. Strangely the area is shared between two pubs, The Wellington (on the left) and Sinclairs Oyster Bar (on the right), even stranger that they used to be 300 metres apart but after the manchester bomb they lifted Sinclairs and moved it so they could build selfridges!

having said that when i have been there it often still seems to be moving or at least swaying slightly ...
