A travelling philosopher

I was photographing a lorikeet in Sydney when this gent came up to me and greeted me in French, strangely, I replied in french and enthusiastically he started telling me the Indian doctrine of Mådhyamik where every substance or entity in the Universe is empty. All the substances in the world did not exist and the very beginning and will not exist at the very end. Whatever is seen or experienced in between are nothing more than a dream. They exist but for that moment for out knowledge alone. He was referencing the opulence of the surroundings as all empty inside, at least I think.
