Janneke

Musician Janneke van Heeswijk performed in a bar on the tourism fair in Utrecht today, together with BJ Baartmans. I photographed Janneke a couple of times before: with her drum kit on a beach and a series for her solo CD "Grietje".
The bar they played in was part of a big stand of GO motorbiking in which Hans Tattersall, one of the owners had used some really big photos of my motorcycle trips in the USA a couple of years ago. Some of them were printed more than 8 meters long. So I thought the big Bryce Canyon photo would make a nice backdrop for a portrait of Janneke.
