Light Box Experiments

Spent part of today having a large chipboard screw removed from one of the car tyres, then a little time on my tax return, and the weather has returned to rainy, grey grisly .... oh joy!

So .... in need of something better to think, about I have returned to 'product photography'. This is a shot of a Caithness Glass paperweight my mum bought when we were living in Caithness 20+ years back.

For the blip I have been experimenting with a light box made from foam core board with one flash on either side which I have been reading abut in Syl Arena's book Lighting for Digital Photography.

As an aside ... it is 'interesting' trying to decide what, if anything, is in focus in this shot ;-)
