One step closer to mortality

Today we drove north to Buckie for my uncle's funeral. Third family funeral in a little over a year. Gradually my barrier to mortality is being eroded just like the seashore in the photo. This was out of focus and exposure all burnt out - a bit like I'm feeling after driving for 4 hours this morning then another 4 hours in the dark and rain to get back home.

It's been a long day.
