Not Quite High Tide

8.6C starting foggy but clearing by late morning to bright sunshine and a few clouds. Light breeze.

Maeve the Deerhound and I were glad that the fog had gone by lunchtime so we could have our walk round the usual route. Down at the beach there were only three or four yards of sand for walking along. Not quite high tide. There was only one other dog walker.

We walked along towards the fishermen's huts and watched the waves running in over the rocks and the spray floating inland on the breeze. The two upturned dingies in the picture are lying behind the small dune line near the big storage rack for Shamara II's creels.

Once we got home I brought the box of printing things down to the kitchen and coloured a few sheets of paper with printing inks which I rolled out on a printing plate. I want to have another go at the monoprint in yesterday's blip with the background giving more of an impression of the small wooded area behind the stones. I am hoping the darker inked area won't prove too dark to let the standing stones show clearly. They will be printed once the sheets are fully dry. Tomorrow perhaps.
