Winter sky over sodden fields

The flooding of last week has subsided, showers not constant rain, but the fields still have a water table barely below the surface, only a few more millimetres of rain would turn the fields into mud baths. If the weather stays reasonable, the rainfall could be an advantage for this crop of peas, making them plump and tasty.
I just love the winter skies though, so dramatic, so ever changing. Not that I would object to a few days of fine, blue sky weather...
