It's all built but the reactor core is just generating way too much heat. I really need to install some sort of thermal exhaust port to vent that energy. Not much space left on the surface, might have to put it at the end of that equatorial trench.

I mean, yeah, it's possibly a risk having a direct line straight to the core but I think I can probably reduce it to an absolute minimum 1.5 metres but we'll stick it at 2 metres just to be sure. In fact, we'll just ray shield it as well, that in conjunction with a few extra turbo lasers batteries along the trench should be fine.

Let's face it, you'd have to be in a single man fighter flying like a bat out of hell and then hit it. What's the chances. We'll go with that.
