Goodbye tree and stile

The big tree with forked trunk has grown so much since we moved into the house that it is proving a problem in a lot of ways. So the tree surgeons are coming in today to cut it down to ground level. It was our stile into the parkland round the loch behind us. We will miss that and will just get a traditional gate from our garden into the parkland.
