Moose (two of 'em)

The plural of goose is geese, yet, the plural of moose is moose. English is such an unruly language.

Dangerous beasts!! They rarely rush you, they just can't move that quickly. But that's the problem. They lumber across roads in the dark and you never see them til they're well in your headlights, and by then it's too late. If you hit one in a car it's pretty well lights out for all. The car will be totaled, too.

They've a decent weight for holding books up, though.
