Gotcha?

This photo isn't elegant or spectacular, but to our family it is hysterical---and maybe a little bit historical. Our cat is not a good jumper, so the birds that come to my deck rail are cautious around her, but not particularly worried about getting caught. However, if you give her enough time to get her slide rule out to calculate all the variables, she can make an attempt. What saved the house finch, which flew off a few seconds later, was that Snickerdoodle was as surprised as the bird was that she was actually able to jump on it!.......
