Hard work pays off

Along side my Uni life, I work as a personal assistant to this young lady who has MS. She is a great activist and was so excited to see that in some way, her work paid off.

Not so long ago, she had to wait for the disabled toilet because an able bodied staff member was in there doing her make up. This resulted in her wetting herself because she was unable to hold it. When entering the toilet, she saw that it was used more as a store room than a toilet.

Needless to say, being the activist she is... She fought for change. She was so excited when she came to go to the toilet today and saw a notice to all staff telling them not to use the toilet... And also that the toilet, was no longer a store room but a gleaming fresh useable room......
