Octopus's garden

My day's excursion took me to the Ocean Lab where on the Goodwick side of Fishguard harbour a permanent exhibition of local marine life includes Ollie here, with his/her reflection.

I loves octopuses. (Or, if you want to be pedantic, octopodes. Since the word comes from Greek, the Latin plural 'octopi' is incorrect.)

Despite being invertebrates octopuses are among the most intelligent of animals as well as the most flexible: they are literally shapeshifters. Here you can see one escaping through a small hole, and here you can watch one unscrewing a jar.
But if you really love octopuses this very long article is riveting: you'll find yourself positively sucked into the incredible world of octopus intelligence and be ready fall in love, as I did with Ollie.
