Spors na Seachdain

Saturday morning, with about ten minutes until we go on the air on BBC Radio nan Gaidheal with Spors na Seachdain, a weekly round up of local, national and international sports news, all presented in Gaelic.
Through the glass, in another studio, Isabel Fraser and Bill Whiteford are on air presenting Good Morning Scotland. I skim through the papers and catch up with the latest sports news online, all fuelled by a steady supply of coffee.
This week we started with Andy Murray going through to the 4th round of the Australian Open, followed by an analysis of the weekend football matches including an interview with football correspondent Alex O Henley about the finances at Rangers, rugby and an interview from the Whistler resort about World Winter sports day. We finished up and with news about the highly popular Barrathon, the annual half marathon on the beautiful island of Barra.
