Ivy

Just outside the back door, when the weather is cold and the sunshine low at a certain time of the day, the sun filters through the central heating discharge, highlighting beams among the ivy. It's not much to see but it gave me something to look at on a day written-off through illness. I was also pleased to identify a bird I'd seen yesterday as a little grebe, a new spot for me.
