Malayan Man

This fine looking man stands proudly on Sister FPs windowsill. He belonged to my great uncle who spent many years living out in Malaya before the second world war. He was a pilot out there and eventually a Japanese prisoner of war. The recent release of the film 'The Railwayman' has brought back memories of a fascinating and enigmatic man who belonged to a special generation of men and women.
