Mrs CJ

Is back on the canal with a new beau. The new beau was very shy but Mrs. CJ and I had a few words (probably because I took her some corn).

Lovely day today, a bit cold but lots of sunshine. Enjoyed my walk down the canal after a very industrious day - tedious household chores followed by some respite in the kitchen with a big cook-up: large lasagne, large chilli and lentil soup made - didn't have time for the Almond and Cherry cake though - probably just as well!!

Got to bolt dinner now as Roy will be knocking on the door soon: I'm going back to Band rehearsals for the first time after rather a long break - I'll let you know how I get on!!
