Welcome to Cusco

I travelled South America with a friend and due to her passport being stolen and an enforced wait for the Embassy to provide a replacement, I stayed in Cusco in Peru for around one month. I worked in a hostel based on one of the steepest hills in the area, and had plenty of time to learn Spanish and see the sights. This view is spectacular, and can only be seen overlooking the city on a clear day, in good daylight. It welcomes visitors to Cusco, which is the home of Machu Picchu.
