Female Hooded Merganser

I looked out to the pond and this lonely hooded merganser was happily fishing. She came directly to me and didn't seem to be scared at all, which isn't always the case. Little Aria, my granddaughter came to visit for the afternoon, so we have been busy making bracelets, and doing art. She is nonstop BUSY....hard to keep up with her!
