Sunset from below Orton scar

Had a great bit of light this afternoon, and managed to get out to benefit from it - ended up at Orton scar - shooting the sinking sun. This was as good as it got - slightly later, the clouds blotted out the sun completely.

After dinner, the sky was looking really clear, so I returned here, complete with two cameras and two tripods, to try star trails and individual shots, within 20 minutes of setting up it had clouded over, so I had to find my way back to a gap in a dry stone wall. So not a successful evening, I might try again tomorrow though. If I can get one as good as this I'll be happy!
